Who We Are

Who We Are

Disciples Commission International also Known as DCI Ministries is an apostolic and missionary organisation which was founded on a divine mandate, that reflect the ministry of Christ and His disciples. We combine evangelical preaching and revivals with practical service, such as humanitarian aid and care service for the less previlege empowered by the Holy Spirit. The charitable work of the ministry is carried out through Delightsome Oaks Mission Orphanage and Delightsome Aids and Care Initiative.

The ministry is led by Prophet Ayo Thomas, the General Overseer and visionary of Disciples Commission International who was called by God in August 1986 as a prophet to the nations. He carries an apostolic commission with a prophetic rod rooted in Isaiah 61:1-3. His ministry emphasizes the preaching of the Gospel in the power of the Holy Spirit as he declaring Christ’s name across cultures and nations.

As an evangelical mission agency, we employs biblical and Spirit-led approaches to missions through an arm of this ministry called Disciples Commission World Evangelism while supporting native missionaries who understand local cultures and languages. This strategy makes our work effective, sustainable, and culturally sensitive oriented at a lower cost with greater impact.

Our Church planting work and campus fellowship centres are known as the Word of Faith Mission and Church Fellowship, a vibrant place of worship dedicated to spiritual growth, fellowship, and the teaching of God’s Word. Our regular services are designed to help members and visitors grow in faith and stay connected and exprience God throughout the week. We gather every Sunday for our main worship service in the morning, where we come together in an atmosphere of Worship, prayer, the hearing of the Word and the prophetic. In addition, we hold a refreshing midweek service every Wednesday evening, providing an opportunity for deeper teaching and spiritual upliftment in our Discipleship School. On Fridays, we meet both in the morning for Shilow Hour and in the evening for Prophetic Feast.

Beyond our weekly services, we also host Night of Greater Glory; a special monthly encounter programs that bring the entire congregation together. These programs take place during the last weekend of every month and are often marked by impactful Word of God, prayers, and special power ministrations. To crown each month, we celebrate our Global Gospel Service on the First Sunday, offering gratitude to God for His faithfulness, blessings, mighty testimonies and guidance throughout the month.
