Who We Are

Disciples Commission International, Ministries (DCI Ministries) is a global apostolic and prophetic organization committed to advancing the Gospel of Jesus Christ among all nations especially the unreached people. The organisation was founded on a divine mandate, that reflect the ministry of Christ and His disciples through revival, evangelism, church planting, and discipleship, empowered by the Holy Spirit. The charitable work of the ministry is based on James 1:27 “Pure and unblemished religion (as it is expressed in outward acts) in the sight of our God and Father is this: to visit and look after the fatherless and the widows in their distress, and to keep oneself uncontaminated by the (secular) world” which is carried out through Delightsome Oaks Mission Orphanage and Delightsome Aids and Care Initiative.

The ministry is led by Reverend Ayo Thomas, the General Overseer and Visionary of Disciples Commission International, called by God in August 1986 as a prophet to all nations. He carries an apostolic commission rooted in Isaiah 61:1-3. His calling emphasizes preaching the Gospel with power, pioneering churches, moving into unreached territories, teaching by divine revelation, and ministering prophetically through mighty signs and wonders by the power of the Spirit of God.

DCI Ministries functions as a channel for the supernatural manifestation of God’s power, declaring Christ’s name across cultures and nations. As an evangelical mission agency, the organization employs biblical and Spirit-led approaches to missions while supporting native missionaries who understand local cultures and languages. This strategy enables effective, sustainable, and culturally sensitive outreach that is cost effective with greater impact.

We are an apostolic and prophetic Christian organization, seeking to integrate the foundational structure of the early Church, the evangelistic outreach of missionary work, and the revelatory insight and guidance of the prophetic ministry.

OUR VISION

Our vision is to fill the earth with the knowledge of God’s glory and establish the Kingdom of God on earth through the spread of the Gospel with apostolic authority and prophetic revelatory insight. This vision is centred on the New Testament mandate, emphasizing strong biblical foundations, pioneering global evangelism, making disciples of all nations, and operating in the power of the Holy Spirit to transform lives, languages, and nations.

This vision is threefold, focusing on fulfilling the Great Commission of Jesus Christ through the preaching of the Gospel, liberating the oppressed according to the Holy Scriptures, promoting worldwide revival, and serving as a timely prophetic voice to the nations. We are committed to raising spiritually healthy prophetic believers who will reach nations, languages, and people in positions of authority, while bringing the reality of God’s ministering Spirit to humanity.

OUR MANDATE

The apostolic mandate is in threefold:

1. To advance the Kingdom of God through the power of the Holy Spirit by building a Church founded on established biblical principles, apostolic governance, pioneering ministry, and sound doctrine. This includes transforming lives, building the Body of Christ, preparing people for eternity, and equipping believers for effective Christian service.

2. To fulfill the Great Commission as recorded in Mark 16 and Matthew 28 by going into all nations, preaching the Gospel with signs following, and making disciples of all people. This involves Holy Spirit-empowered evangelism, church planting, and spread of the Gospel, particularly in communities and regions where Christ is not yet known.

3. Compassion ministries: Committed to addressing community needs through relationship building and community service, such as homes for the elderly, orphanage, humanitarian aid and community-focused support initiatives.

PROPHETIC AUTHORITY

Our ministry emphasizes preaching with the power of God and prophesying before many peoples, nations, languages, and those in authority. Our focus is to point people to Jesus Christ, communicate the mind of God with clarity, and provide spiritual guidance through the Holy Spirit. We seek to strengthen and align the Church with God’s timing and direction for the advancement of His Kingdom.

Our Mission

The mission of Disciples Commission International, Ministries (DCI Ministries) is to advance the Gospel of Jesus Christ among all nations, with a special focus on reaching unreached people groups. Led by the General Overseer, Reverend Ayo Thomas, the ministry operates with apostolic mandate and prophetic authority, rooted in Isaiah 61:1–3 and empowered by the Spirit of God. The mission is carried out through the following key expressions:

Gospel Proclamation

Spreading the Gospel of salvation and preparing the Church for the return of Jesus Christ through revival, spiritual awakening, and steadfast devotion to God. We bringing people out of darkness into God’s marvelous light, especially the unreached people and communities, through local door-to-door evangelism, open-air outreaches, and mega crusades.

Supernatural Manifestation

Serving as a vessel for the manifestation of God’s power through the preaching of Jesus Christ, demonstrating the reality of His Kingdom across different cultures, languages, and nations through signs, wonders, healing, deliverance, and prophetic ministry.

Discipleship

Teaching and equipping new believers to observe, practice, and live by all of Christ’s foundational teachings and commandments for life transformation, spiritual growth, and spiritual maturity, raising disciples who reflect the character and purpose of Christ.

Church Planting and Fellowship Centres

Advancing into unreached territories to establish churches, fellowship centres, and discipleship communities, while strengthening existing Christian communities through apostolic leadership, sound doctrine, and spiritual empowerment.

Prophetic Ministry

Emphasizing the preaching of the Gospel with power through divine revelation and cultivating a prophetic culture that hears the voice of God for present-day direction, enabling the Church to advance with divine insight, spiritual strategy, and the demonstration of supernatural power.

Pioneering and Strengthen of Churches

Establishing and strengthening churches through apostolic oversight, prophetic direction, the demonstration of God’s power and the transforming influence of the Gospel.

Equipping and Empowerment

Training and commissioning ministers, missionaries, and labourers by the power of the Holy Spirit for the end-time harvest.

Sustainable Outreach

Sending and supporting missionaries, especially native missionaries who understand local languages, traditions, and cultures, thereby promoting a more effective, sustainable, and culturally sensitive approach to global evangelism and missions.

Media and Digital Evangelism

Utilizing media broadcasts, social media, digital communication, and internet platforms to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ, reach global audiences, and disciple people across nations and cultures.

Humanitarian Work

Demonstrating the love and compassion of Christ through humanitarian and community-based initiatives that care for the needy, support vulnerable populations, empower communities, and bring hope, relief, and restoration to underserved people and regions.

Our Goal

Our goal is to establish the Kingdom of God in the hearts of people, equip believers, and spread the Gospel through structured spiritual authority and the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit.

Field Ministry

As an evangelical mission agency, we employ biblical and Spirit-led approaches to gospel revival campaigns and missions through an arm of this ministry called Disciples Commission World Evangelism, while supporting native missionaries who understand local cultures and languages. This strategy makes our work effectively, impactful, sustainable, and culturally sensitive.

The Disciples Commission Mission-Bible Institute

The Institute is open to those who are called by God and anyone who desires to deepen their relationship with God, gain a better understanding of the Bible, and develop the skills needed for effective Christian service and ministry. Applicants are encouraged to have the endorsement and support of their pastor or church leader, where applicable. Application forms are available at all designated training centres.

Church Ministry

We are committed to strategic church planting and establishing fellowship centers among unreached people groups through contextualized evangelism. Through Word of Faith Mission and Church Fellowship, indigenous, Bible-believing churches are planted within their cultural contexts, providing vibrant centers for worship, discipleship, and spiritual growth.

Our weekly gatherings include Sunday Worship Services, Wednesday Discipleship School, Friday Shiloh Hour, and Prophetic Feast. We also host Night of Greater Glory, a special monthly program held on the last weekend of each month, featuring powerful preaching, prayer, and ministry. Every first Sunday, we celebrate our Holy Ghost Gospel Impact Service, giving thanks to God for His faithfulness, blessings, and testimonies.

Youth Ministry

The Word of Faith Mission Campus Fellowship is a dynamic outreach of our Youth Ministry dedicated to leading young people to Christ and raising a generation of believers who boldly live out their faith on campus and beyond. Through biblical teaching, discipleship, prayer, evangelism, and mentorship, students are equipped for spiritual growth, leadership, and Kingdom impact.

In partnership with DCI Ministries and our church headquarters, the fellowship provides a nurturing environment where students can deepen their relationship with God, develop their gifts, and fulfill their God-given purpose. Present on numerous university campuses, members regularly gather for fellowship meetings, Bible studies, prayer sessions, and outreach programs, making a lasting impact in their communities and among their peers.
